Our company will supply 300MW PUTTALAM COAL POWER FIRE ALARM SYSTEM in September 2023.
The 3X300MW Puttalam Coal Power Plant in Sri Lanka is constructed by China Machinery and Equipment Engineering Co., Ltd. (CMEC) and owned by the Sri Lanka Ceylon Power Board (CEB), and the cooperation mode is EPC general contracting.The project was completed in two phases, with a total of three 300MW units. The first phase of the project is a 1X300MW coal-fired unit and ancillary facilities, and the second phase of the project is a 2X300MW coal-fired unit and ancillary facilities. The first phase of the project started in July 2007, put into commercial operation in July 2011, and ended the warranty period in September 2013. The second phase of the project started in May 2010 and was put into commercial operation in October 2014.
The image of the power plant is printed on Sri Lanka's 100 denomination rupee banknote, which is well-known to the general public of Sri Lanka. The power station not only lights up thousands of lights, but also provides important assistance for the economic development of Sri Lanka.
